Wasted opp ortunity to not put an LED ring around that rear fan housing. Could have made it look like a rocket ship.
Also, it looks like an F1 (no surprise), but like an F1 MK2

“There’s no plastic in this car at all.”
What? If true, that’s amazing.

Steering wheel is pretty meh.

Except, you know, the fact that it’s made from CFRP, but yeah

12,000 rpm V12. Jesus.
I love it. Took the heritage of McLaren F1 and made everything even more ludacris.

The very circular center reminded me of KIA.

I don’t care about super cars because they’re just not attainable to me.....but I’m so psyched for this car. The world needs another F1

Same. Can’t wait for Harris to drive it!

His logo is great - not sure why they didn’t put it on the steering wheel.
If I’m honest, I’m not in love with the headlights, either, but everything else in the design is pretty damn stunning.

It ’s VERY F1 2.0

No wasted weight. =)

Headlight shape is quite different.
What’s going on with the turn signal? Very unusual.

Vibe is the same though. Th e shape of the front trunk are SUPER F1 derived.

Yes, the shape of the hood/front
is very similar.

There’s actually a lot of 918 in the front end too. Mainly the front fender tops.

That’s rad. Clever homage!

At some point, designs of similar layout
end up
similar
functionally. You can only take away so much, and t
he wheels aren’t going anywhere.

Definitely a similar shape to the front lenses.

You got that right. Did some design work on a couple engine parts for this, weight was down to tenths of a gram requirements.

I was only mildly interested until I saw the 3 pedals. That’s how you design a super car for a driving experience.

So awesome! You should see about buying one of the parts you worked on from their parts catalog in a few years (if it’s not completely cost-prohibitive, and if they’ll actually even sell it to you).
Maybe a 3D-printed version, then. =)

I’m pretty sure I can grab some scrap setup parts. We did the CNC machining, assembly, and validation testing on them too.

You definitely should!
And hang/frame next to a print of this:

I like the front end from this lower angle much better.
I’m slightly obsessed...
